The Metropole Galleries are on the ground floor of The Metropole, overlooking the sea, at the Western end of The Leas in Folkestone, Kent.

Buses 10, 10A, 12, 18, 19 and 711 stop at the rear of the building on Sandgate Road. There is free car parking at the front of the building.
Access
The Galleries are located within a listed Edwardian building, which means that physical access is poor. However, staff can make special arrangements and are pleased to help - please telephone for details.
Plans are being made to increase the range of materials available to gallery visitors with visual or hearing impairment.

Road: M20 Junction 13 – 1st roundabout 3rd exit – 2nd roundabout 2nd exit to Cherry Garden Avenue – carry straight on to junction with Cheriton Road at traffic lights straight across – under railway bridge – bear left along Shorncliffe Road – turn right Grimston Avenue – continue to junction with Sandgate Road – straight across to The Metropole Galleries – park to front of building on The Leas facing Sea.
Rail: Get off at Folkestone Central taxi rank or 15 minute walk –turn right Shorncliffe Road - turn left Earls Avenue - turn right Sandgate Road - turn left to The Metropole Galleries or Folkestone West 10 minute walk – Shorncliffe Road – turn right Grimston Avenue - continue to junction with Sandgate Road – straight across – entrance to The Metropole Galleries to front of building on The Leas facing Sea.
